Supreme Election commission renewed the informational project “ My First Elections” within the framework of the memorandum signed between the Supreme Election Commission and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara. On November 18, SEC trainers conducted the meetings at N4 and N8 public Batumi schools.
Sec trainers informed the young on electoral principles, the election history in Georgia, the structure and importance of election administration, the role of young people in the election process, the importance of one vote, electronic technologies in the electoral process and future plans. Participants discussed the issue of integrating electronic technologies into electoral processes based on the experience of the Georgian election administration and other countries.
SEC administration representatives lead the meetings. The project is conducted by the Institutional Development and Public Relations Department.
