Deadline to apply the SEC for registration of political parties for 20202 Supreme Council elections has expired. 26 political parties applied SEC for registration,20 political parties have already registered,6 of them are in a process. The political parties can participate in the elections as a political bloc.

The deadline to apply SEC for registration for blocs is 18 September. The political parties should submit the party lists to the SEC Chairperson no later than 1st of October and accordingly, the party lists’ verification process launches, followed by the registration process of the mentioned party list.

As for the majoritarian candidates, the political party/election bloc nominates one candidate in each majoritarian election district.
