The Supreme Election Commission, within the framework of its cooperation with the Supreme Youth Council, began informational meetings with students living in the Ajara region.
The SEC Chairperson, Parman Jalaghonia, addressed the participants and shared insights on the history of elections.
The meetings will last three days and cover important issues, including elections and democracy, electoral systems, election principles, disinformation and the impact of social media on electoral processes.
The information course includes both theoretical and practical modules. Students will get information about election day procedures and participate in a hands-on simulation of election day.
After completing the training, certificates will be awarded to participants. This experience will help young people participate in observation missions.
