IFES organised the workshop for Batumi State University students at the Supreme Election Commission. Parmen Jalaghonia, the SEC Chairperson, made opening remarks at the meeting. Deputy chairperson of the Supreme Election Commission, Nodar Meladze, informed the participants about the priorities of technology use on e-day, existing challenges and the ways to resolve them. The students took part in mock elections and tested the operation of the verification and vote-counting machines in practice.
