The Supreme Election Commission has renewed the educational and informational project "My First Elections". In November and December this year, SEC trainers visited 15 public and private schools in Batumi. About 500 students attended the meetings. Within the framework of the training, the students were informed about elections, democracy, history, types and importance of elections. SEC trainers introduced innovations, particularly, the usage of electronic technologies in the election process.
The project is implemented by the Supreme Election Commission in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara. This initiative aims to raise the awareness of young people and promote their involvement in the election process.
